John Parry, Jim Mayer, myself and Geoff Stone again playing at the Masonic Hall, Kidsgrove, this time a year later in 1962 and calling ourselves the 'Equadors'. Since the last time we played there we had acquired a singer (Jim) plus I now had my 'new' kit of Premier drums. The guitars had also been upgraded but we were still then playing without a bass. We were not keen on increasing the numbers in the group so shortly after this gig, John switched to playing bass guitar rather reluctantly, as he was not too fast on the plucking!
